The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill Undergraduate Sport Administration program provides students with course work specific to sport-related business and prepares students to work in high-level competitive sport settings or to attend graduate school. Course topics include communication, , data analytics, economics, event planning, facility management, finance, governance, licensing, law, marketing, media, sales, sociology, sponsorship, and other important components of the sport industry. The undergraduate program explores a variety of sport settings, including youth sports, intercollegiate sports, professional sports, amateur sports, and other organizations and industries tangentially related to the sport industry. Experiential education internships within a variety of sport settings are encouraged, with a requirement to complete at least one sport administration internship prior to graduation.
