UNC Sports Medicine is happy to announce that we will be offering immersion experiences to entry-level masters’ students from schools all over.  We have an assortment of experiences so please indicate what type of experience you are looking for. We have experienced preceptors who really value student education and mentoring ATs of the future. Fall Semester: Applications for spots are open starting in November

Spring Semester: Applications for spots are open starting in March

Summer: Open starting in September ***We have limited positions for Football ONLY.***

The earlier you get your application in the better your chances of getting something that fits your academic needs.

Applicant Requirements:
Students must have completed coursework in evaluation and management of athletic injury at an accredited entry-level master’s program or undergraduate athletic training program and must have:
– CPR for the professional rescuer or BLS certification
– Immunizations are up to date including a flu shot, COVID vaccine, and a TB test

Details:
Housing: Housing is not available on campus.
Meal Plan: There are no meal plan options available.
Transportation: The site is accessible to public transit. On campus parking, at varying price point, paid by student.
Dress Code: Professional attire is required. Typically that includes khaki pants and shorts with UNC sports medicine shirts. The shirts are provided.
Pay: This is an unpaid experience.
