APPLYING FOR ADMISSION TO THE UNDERGRADUATE PROGRAM

Thank you for your interest in the EXSS undergraduate program. If you are a prospective UNC student, you must FIRST gain admission to the university and THEN you may declare the EXSS major by visiting an academic advisor in Academic Advising Program housed in the Steele Building. (http://admissions.unc.edu/)  This program requires application.  See the tab to the left for more information about the Coaching Education minor.  If you are a student interested in transferring to UNC from another institution, please visit the Admissions/Transfer Students website at http://admissions.unc.edu/apply/transfer-students/. (This page also has information on which courses – including NC Community Colleges – will transfer to UNC.) The EXSS department is a part of the Natural Sciences Division of the College of Arts and Sciences. Thus, prospective students will find value in successfully completing courses in General Education prior to admission to UNC and the EXSS department.

I AM A CURRENT UNC STUDENT – HOW DO I DECLARE AS AN EXSS UNDERGRADUATE MAJOR?

Undergraduate students may declare EXSS as their major through an Academic Advisor in Steele Building.

For more information please contact the EXSS Academic Advisors.
