Dr. Bonita Marks was recently elected as chair for the American College of Sports Medicine’s Special Interest Group (SIG) on Aging during their annual conference held in Denver Colorado in June 2011. It is a 3-year appointment. She will be responsible for guiding educational, networking, and conference opportunities for the membership group and advising the national ACSM conference programming committee on topic selections related to aging.
