The UNC-CH Undergraduate Athletic Training Education Program is nationally accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Athletic Training Education.  This program received re-accreditation for 10 years in the Fall of 2010.  The program is officially recognized as having met the standards established by the National Athletic Trainers’ Association, American Academy of Family Physicians, the American Academy of Pediatrics and the American Orthopedic Society for Sports Medicine.

The Athletic Training Program will not be accepting applications after Fall 2017.  We will no longer offer entry level education as we are not transitioning to the masters degree at this time.
