Why I chose UNC: The University of North Carolina was an easy choice for me. I wanted to improve my clinical skills, expand my knowledge, and develop my own research. All of these things I could do with the guidance of the very best in the field. The faculty and staff truly care about the success of the students and I have never felt more welcomed. Moving to the beautiful area of Chapel Hill was icing on the cake.

Why I chose UNC: I was initially drawn to UNC because of the opportunity to work with and be challenged by some of the brightest minds in the field of athletic training.  UNC offers a very unique and well-rounded education through clinical, teaching and research experiences.  However, it was the sense of family I felt instantly when I first arrived on campus that ultimately solidified my decision.  I am thrilled to be able to spend the next two years growing as a clinician, researcher, student and educator alongside incredible faculty, staff and peers.

Why I chose UNC: What lead me to UNC was the esteemed reputation of the graduate program as well as the opportunity to learn from and work alongside some of the greatest minds in sports medicine. However, what sold me on choosing UNC for my home for the next two years were the people I met during my interview and experiencing the family-like atmosphere they have developed within the program. I am excited to be a Tar Heel and hope the knowledge and experience I develop during my time here will lead me to be a great clinician.
